Manila to Roxas Capiz ✈️ - Roxas Capiz to Sibuyan 🛥️

1. Naia - Roxas Capiz

Fly from Manila (NAIA Airport) to Roxas, Capiz in just 1 hour – flights with Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines can be as cheap as ₱1,200!

From Roxas Airport, you can take a tricycle to the Roxas Port for around ₱50, or use a Grab (ride-hailing app). Prices may vary depending on traffic and availability.

Once at the port, take the Starlite Ferry to Sibuyan (Azagra Port), which departs daily at 1:00 PM (13:00). The ferry ride takes about 5 hours, with tickets starting from ₱800.

 

2. Naia - Tablas Island Airport (unavailable)

Tablas (Tugdan) Airport is currently not operating regular commercial flights due to runway limitations.
Government plans are underway to extend and improve the runway, allowing larger aircraft to land in the future.

By Bus & Ferry 

Manila to Lucena 🚌 - Lucena to Sibuyan 🛥️

1. Budget Option via Lucena

For budget-conscious travelers, the ferry from Lucena to Sibuyan is an excellent choice.
First, take a bus from Buendia Bus Terminal in Manila to Lucena City – the ride takes around 4 hours.
From there, board the Starhorse Ferry at Lucena Port, which departs daily at 4:00 PM and arrives at Ambulong Port, Sibuyan around 7:00–8:00 AM the next day.

The fare is approximately ₱1,000, with discounts available for students and senior citizens.
Please note that tickets cannot be booked online, and bed bunks may not be available if you arrive too late at the port — we recommend getting there early to secure a good spot.

 

2. Comfortable Option via Batangas

 

Manila by bus to Batangas by boat to Sibuyan Island

If you prefer a faster and more comfortable journey, take a bus from Buendia Bus Terminal in Manila to Batangas Port (approximately 3–4 hours).
From there, board the Starlite Ferry to Sibuyan, which departs daily at 4:00 PM and arrives at Ambulong Port, Sibuyan around 5:00–6:00 AM the next day.

Ticket prices range from ₱1,500 to ₱2,000, depending on the vessel and accommodation type — reclining seats, economy bed bunks, or private cabins. Meals are usually included in the ticket price.
