1. Naia - Roxas Capiz

  • Fly: Travel from Manila (NAIA Airport) to Roxas City, Capiz in just 1 hour. Flights with Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines can be found for as low as ₱1,200.

  • To the Port: From Roxas Airport, take a tricycle to the Roxas Port (Culasi Port) for around ₱100, or use a Grab car. Prices may vary depending on availability.

  • Ferry: Once at the port, board the Starlite Ferry to Sibuyan.

    • Departure: 1:00 PM (13:00)

    • Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

    • Arrival: The ferry ride takes approximately 5-6 hours, arriving in Sibuyan in the evening. Tickets start from around ₱1000.

2. Naia - Tablas Island Airport (unavailable)

Tablas Airport Update

Tablas (Tugdan) Airport is currently not operating regular commercial flights due to runway limitations.
Government plans are underway to extend and improve the runway, allowing larger aircraft to land in the future.

By Bus & Ferry 

1. Budget Option via Lucena

For budget-conscious travelers, the ferry from Lucena to Sibuyan is an excellent choice.
First, take a bus from Buendia Bus Terminal in Manila to Lucena City – the ride takes around 4 hours.
From there, board the Starhorse Ferry at Lucena Port, which departs daily at 4:00 PM and arrives at Ambulong Port, Sibuyan around 7:00–8:00 AM the next day.

The fare is approximately ₱1,500, with discounts available for students and senior citizens.
Please note that tickets cannot be booked online, and bed bunks may not be available if you arrive too late at the port — we recommend getting there early to secure a good spot.

2. Comfortable Option via Batangas

Manila to Sibuyan (via Batangas)

If you prefer a journey from the capital, take a bus from Buendia Bus Terminal in Manila to Batangas Port (approximately 3–4 hours).

From there, board the Starlite Ferry to Sibuyan, which departs on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 PM and arrives at Ambulong Port around 2:00–3:00 AM the next day.

  • Ticket prices: Range from ₱1,500 to ₱2,000, depending on the vessel and accommodation type (reclining seats, economy bed bunks, or private cabins).

  • Meals: Usually included in the ticket price.

  • Booking: Tickets can be booked online and at the port terminal.
